Accessibility statement
Staff and volunteers of every age and ability need to read their briefing in a hurry, often on a phone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across Readybrief.
What we do
- Every public page and the main venue pages are tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 AA before each release, in light and dark mode.
- Pages work with a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom up to 400% and phone screens.
- Animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
- We write in plain English and keep briefings short.
Known limits
- The introduction video has no sound; all of its information is shown as on-screen text and is also on the page.
- Automated tests don’t catch everything. We haven’t yet had an independent audit.
